Pinoy Dinner

Dried danggit!
Barely two days out of the Philippines, we're already craving for home-cooked Pinoy food. And what better way to satisfy that than tagging along to a Filipino family's for dinner!

One of my classmates, Ate Roxie (from Iloilo/Bacolod), had to deliver some package from back home to a friend of a friend, Ate Bing, who'll be serving dinner. And we're welcome to join!

I came along, of course! Five of us (Ate Roxie, Ate Toni, Ate Sonia, Nhear, and I) crammed into a taxi and off we went. Ate Bing's and Kuya Noriel's place is in Maashaaven (that could've been conveniently reached via Metro if we already knew how to use the Metro). They have two girls. The family's practically Dutch now -- save for the food. Which is all good!

Thank you, Kuya Noriel and Ate Bing! (And Ate Roxie for taking us.)

Sinigang!
Pork belly!
