It's been more than a week since I got back. It's not the happiest time, returning from (the) home (land), the post-holiday homesickness (even if the trip back was not for the holidays). Have had my share of these moments back in uni.
The gloomy Rotterdam weather is not helping either.
Which, for most of the days since coming back, got me stuck indoors (except for one or two short walks out for grocery-shopping). Not that I really go out and about as much doing sunny days, either, but you know...
In days that I do, I like to walk. I had to buy some stuff somewhere in Beurs and at the
Asian store in Centrum, so I walked. And took pictures from my phone. And I'm letting the photos speak for themselves.

I didn't plan to walk on my back, so I took the Metro. But I had to drop by Albert Heijn in Oudedijk to pick up some other grocery stuff, and I thought I'd try walking back. I barely had the energy (I was hungry; haven't eaten anything that day...), but it was a good idea, walking.
