But here I must get sturdy shoes for the cold. I needed boots. Something light, that I might consider wearing back home. I got the cheapest DMs I could get.

It's probably a tad too big (I didn't listen to the advice from online reviewers to go 1 size down), but I needed to use it already for a trip. It's still good. Very light and doesn't seem to need breaking in. We'll see...
